Meat pushes food prices to fifth consecutive rise

Food prices rose 0.3 per cent in August 2021 compared with July 2021, mainly influenced by higher prices for meat, poultry, and fish, and restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food, Stats NZ says.

Well the wokesters are telling us to leave the car and cycle everywhere. Next it will be a ban on meat and we will be surviving on lentils and mushrooms. Can we fast forward to the psychedelic drugs and free love?
