The first powhiri welcoming migrants in the Bay of Plenty will be held today at Whareroa Marae at Mount Maunganui from 9.30am - 3pm.
Paediatric dietician Rachael Wilson is hosting two workshops on raising children to eat well and enjoy food from right from the start. Children who are confident in their bodies, who eat a variety of food, and enjoy being at the table, have skills that help them experience both health and happiness, says Rachael. The first workshop is Baby led feeding at New Shoots Tauranga, 850 Cameron Road, from 10am - 12pm. The second is Find peace at the dinner table at New Shoots Papamoa, 5 Twin Oak Avenue from 1.30 pm -3.30 pm.
