Perfect weather for second day of One Love

Tik Tok stars were amongst the 20000-strong crowd on Saturday at the opening day of the One Love Festival.

In its seventh year,  the event at Wharepai Domain sold out three weeks ago, with thousands of hopefuls on a waiting list.

Today, most of the acts will be live-streamed as they were yesterday, making the festival accessible to fans worldwide who were unable to travel internationally to come to NZ.

Sunday One Love Festival Live Stream:

Today, Lomez Brown kicks off the second day, starting at 12noon, and will be followed by Ardijah, The Black Seeds, Chad Chambers, Katchafire, Victor J Sefo, Dave Dobbyn, Swiss, Sammy J, Maimoa, Sons of Zion, Fat Freddy's Drop and finally the much-anticipated L.A.B who will finish off the evening and festival.

The weather today couldn't be better, with a fine day with light winds and afternoon sea breezes and a high of 23 degrees forecast by MetService.

Cornerstone Roots, Maisey Rika, Fiji, House of Shem, Stan Walker and Kora were just a few of the superb line-up of Kiwi talent yesterday.

Check out some of the photographs taken by SunLive photographer Cameron Avery who was at the festival yesterday:

Good to see a happy crowd enjoying themselves. I have been aware of it from time to time as the noise arrives at my house, but it is not really disruptive (as it has been in the past) and the levels are fair and reasonable. I see One Love as a success story where the organizers have compromised with the community and everybody wins. It’s good to be able to stay home and not have to leave town as has happened in the past... and I’m glad to see the many people who really enjoy this event. :-)
