Two lucky Lotto players win $500,000

Two lucky Lotto Players will be starting their Christmas festivities early after winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in last night’s live Lotto draw.
The winning tickets were sold at Bucklands Beach Superette in Auckland and at Four Square Matarangi in Whitianga.
Powerball was not struck last night and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $16 million.
Strike Four was also won last night by a player from Kaitaia who took home $700,000. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Pak N Save Kaitaia in Kaitaia.
Christmas celebrations will be starting early for 11 Lotto players after each winning $29,290 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw.
Two lucky players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $39,894. The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold at Pak n Save Papamoa in Papamoa and Grant Bros. in Gisborne.
The 11 Lotto players who won $29,290 with Lotto Second Division bought their winning tickets at Pak N Save Mangere – Auckland, Avondale Foodmarket – Auckland, MyLotto - Bay of Plenty, Pak n Save Papamoa (+PB) – Papamoa, Pak N Save Gisborne – Gisborne, Elgin Shop N Save – Gisborne, Grant Bros. (+PB) – Gisborne, Copper Kettle – Masterton, New World Whitby – Porirua, Redwood Lotto – Blenheim, and MyLotto – Nelson.
