Staff allegedly assaulted in Tauranga robbery

Staff at a store in Papamoa were allegedly assaulted in a robbery today.

A police spokesperson says officers responded to a report of a robbery at a store on Gravatt Road, Papamoa, about 10:45am.

“Staff at the store were allegedly assaulted.

“The vehicle was later located and stopped on Turret Road.

“Police are still in attendance.”
