Tauranga Lotto player wins $24,346

There will be celebrations today for two lucky players in the Bay of Plenty who won thousands in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw.

A player from Tauranga has won $24,346 with Lotto Second Division in last night’s live Lotto draw, and a player from the Bay of Plenty has won $166,667 with Lotto First Division.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday night and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $28 million.

Six Lotto players from around the country have each won $166,667 with Lotto First Division in last night’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at MyLotto – Auckland, Pakuranga Lotto – Auckland, Patumahoe Four Square – Franklin, MyLotto - Bay of Plenty, Kuripuni Lotto and Post Shop – Masterton, and Kiwi Mart - Wellington.

One lucky Strike player will also be celebrating today after winning $200,000 with Strike Four. The winning ticket was sold at New World Mt Roskill in Auckland.

One lucky player from Auckland also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $54,591. The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold on MyLotto.

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at Pak N Save Kaitaia – Kaitaia, Countdown Manukau City Mall – Auckland, MyLotto (+PB) – Auckland, MyLotto – Auckland, Wymondley Superette – Auckland, MyLotto – Auckland, The Bookshop and Lotto – Huntly, AJ’s Lotto – Tauranga, MyLotto - Bay of Plenty, Whitcoulls New Plymouth - New Plymouth, New World Taihape – Taihape, Waikanae New World – Waikanae, New World Kapiti – Paraparaumu, Greymouth New World – Greymouth, Kaiapoi New World – Kaiapoi, Hornby Mall Lotto – Christchurch, MyLotto – Canterbury, Plaza Supervalue – Invercargill.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at or through the Lotto NZ App.
