Heavy rain watch issued for Tauranga
A heavy rain watch is in force for Tauranga today.
The MetService says there are periods of rain, possibly heavy and thundery from afternoon, with southeasterlies.

A heavy rain watch for Coromandel Peninsula has now been upgraded to a full warning.
“People are advised to keep up to date with the latest forecasts in case any updates are made to the watch or warning.”
