Bupa Cedar Manor Care Home residents and staff commemorated Anzac Day yesterday through putting up indoor and outdoor displays.

The Anzac spirit continued, as all residents went outside and panted poppies throughout the Cedar Manor grounds.

Bupa Cedar Manor Care Home Manager Jane Verry says the residents and staff come together every year to pay their respects.

“It’s important that we continue to remember the sacrifices made and we do that in our own small way at the care home for our residents.

“It can also be educational for our younger members of staff who may not know much about Anzac Day,” says Jane.
