What’s on – events for everyone this Saturday

Good morning SunLive readers and welcome to Saturday, where there are activities and events for all to enjoy.

Today there is a high of 23 degrees and an overnight temperature of 17 degrees. Tauranga residents can expect cloudy periods with occasional showers.

Despite the gloomy weather, there are plenty of events to get involved in today.

The Historic Village is playing host to the Gincredible event, a boutique celebration of food, entertainment and artisan craft gin.

The Gincredible event kicks off at 12.00pm. Today’s tickets have sold out, however they are still up for grabs for tomorrow at eventfinda.

Another event not to be missed is the Trustpower National Community Awards presentation, where viewers are welcome to listen and be inspired by volunteers who are vying for the top voluntary award.

The Trustpower National Community Awards begin today at the Holy Trinity Church.

The awards are taking place at Holy Trinity Church from 8.15am-4.15pm and it is a free event. For more information, click here.
