At about 10.20pm on Tuesday, a lone male entered the shop area of the Caltex service station on Welcome Bay Road armed with a large knife.

The man left with cigarettes and cash, says Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Rawlinson

“Police are appealing for members of the public to come forward if they saw the incident occurring, or witnessed two males loitering in front of the service station in the half hour before the robbery.”
