Based on experience from previous years I have dreaded the approach of the One Love concert. So much so, that I usually get out of town while it is on... However, several people said it was OK last year so I resolved to see if I could endure it this year. Instead of being blasted by a continuous thump thump which rattles the implements in my garage, and the continual rumbling background (I live in the early avenues), there was nothing. I think I was aware of it briefly for a minute or so on Saturday and Sunday and the level was perfectly reasonable. Maybe the prevailing wind is a factor. Anyway, I’d like to offer sincere thanks to the organisers for getting it right and enjoying their concert without imposing it on the rest of us. Glad it was a success and best wishes for next year!
