What’s On: Waikato Challenge Cup and the weather

Dyson Delahunty is the current Waikato Challenge Cup Champion and will be racing today to defend the title.

Good Morning SunLive readers and welcome to your second day of what is going to be a hot long weekend.

Remember if you are heading to the beach or are planning on spending some time outdoors, make sure you put on some sunscreen and cover up.

Looking at your weather for today, it is set to be fine with some westerly winds about.

Your high for today is 27 degrees with an overnight low of 19 degrees.

Looking at your weather for tomorrow, it is set to reach a high of 30 degrees! If you don’t already have a pool at your place, I’d be making friends with someone who does!

If you are looking for something to get you out and about today and are in to a bit of off-road racing, why not head along to TECT Park.

The Waikato Off-road racing club is holding their Waikato Challenge Cup at TECT Park and there is plenty of spectator viewing.

There will be a field of buggy’s and UTV’s racing for two, one hour races, with racing starting at 10am.
