One Love 2019 kicks off long weekend
The One Love Festival for 2019 has kicked off with a bang.
Festival goers from all over the country have travelled to Tauranga to watch and enjoy the two day reggae festival.
Now in its fifth year, One Love has well and truly established itself in the hearts of reggae fans from all corners of the globe.
The festivities kicked off at 12pm with Common Unity taking the stage.
The performances will run until around 10pm tonight.
DROPIT, New Zealand’s leading drop auction app, is offering One Love festival goers exclusive giveaways and entertainment via an event partnership with Pato Entertainment, the event promotors of One Love.
On stage with Katchafire, Stan Walker, UB40 and other musicians DROPIT will be giving away exclusive prize packs for people who can quickly get to DROPIT’s nearby tent or other secret locations.
Prizes include a year’s supply of Burger King Whoppers, Marley Bluetooth speakers, One Love merchandise clothing packs and other surprises.
Festival goers will also be able to enter to win cash prizes by texting DROPIT to 3553.
“Alongside creating DROPIT to evolve auctions in the mobile age, we have worked with festivals and sporting events in the US and New Zealand to bring a whole new level of fun and crowd engagement,” says Co-founder of DROPIT, Peter Howell.
“We can’t wait to show One Love what we have on offer and are looking forward to enjoying the reggae with the 20,000+ people heading to the festival.”
