Track preparations underway for D1NZ
Diggers are at Baypark Stadium preparing for the D1NZ National Drifting Championships this weekend.
Thousands of people are expected to gather for Round One of the competition.
Organisers are encouraging people to head along and see New Zealand's best drifters battling it out in the stadium, sliding along the concrete walls and turning tyres into smoke, this is one of the best events of the season and showcases just how far the sport of drifting has come.
GATES OPEN BOTH DAYS 10AM
Saturday - Qualifying Day, main show: 3pm – 8pm
Sunday - Competition Day, main show: 3pm - 9pm
