Pukehina Safety Day is being run by the Pukehina Community Response Team.

Being held in the Pukehina Community Hall this afternoon, it is a great way to found out what to do in an emergency.

In a statement from the Bay of Plenty Civil Defence, it says there will be different topics discussed.

Some of the discussion points will be, emergency evacuation points, communication methods, personal preparation tips, survival kits, and dog survival kits.

“Our Civil Defence representative will be there to provide information and will do a talk at 1.45pm on what to do in an emergency,” says the Bay of Plenty Civil Defence.

There will also be giveaways and a sausage sizzle.

The Pukehina Safety Day is being held in the Pukehina Community Hall from 1pm to 3pm, Sunday November 25.
