They are primped, preened and ready to paint the town red… or maybe just a deep shade of embarrassment. They are up for anything and perhaps anyone, except that is for Stephen and Gordon – the alpha-male and nerdy no-hoper at the table next to them.
After Dinner, written by Andrew Bovell, is a hilarious comedy of sex, friendship and Friday night drinks where, over the course of the evening, bad dance moves are on display, friendships are tested and the map of the human heart is criss-crossed.
In this play of adult themes with delicious one-liners, many viewers will be reminded of friends and lovers and may even recognise a bit of themselves. Some content may offend.
