This year’s upcoming Operatunity concerts will be packed with exceptional music from a range of different genres each month.
The first concert of the year on February 2, ‘Luck of the Irish’ starring singer Bryony Williams and violinist Jess Hindin, is an Irish pot of musical gold with great singing, virtuoso fiddling and the odd Irish joke.
On March 9 one of the more popular shows ‘Rat Pack Returns’ will also be back, with Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua, Rutene Spooner and Tainui Kuru bringing along a band and a new whole show of tribute songs, such as those from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior.
All concerts are at Holy Trinity Church, 215 Devonport Road and include lunch with the artists following the show.
The Operatunity office will be closed until January 8. However, you can book tickets through the Operatunity website: www.daytimeconcerts.co.nz or leave a message on: 0508 266 237.
The Weekend Sun has two double passes to the Friday, February 2 ‘Luck of the Irish’ concert for two lucky readers.
