Man dumped at Tauranga ED dies

Police are investigating the death of a man dropped off at Tauranga Hospital earlier today.

The man dropped off at Tauranga Hospital's ED today with critical injuries has died.

A police spokesman says the man was left at the emergency department at about 12.20pm in a critical condition.

The man was being treated by hospital staff when he died a short time later.

No other details are available from police at this stage.

“Police are working to establish how the man sustained the injuries and are making a number of inquiries in the area,” says the spokesperson.

does the person/people that dropped this person off at the hospital think that this relieves them of the responsibility....maybe sticking around to help with details would have been a good idea....
