Today some residual morning cloud should clear to a fine day with southwesterlies dying out.

It's a three-clothing layer day with a high of 17 and an overnight low of 6 degrees forecast.

This day in world history in 1963, Soviet Cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman to travel into space.

This morning's weather wrap video was filmed from the Gregory Mark Woledge seat opposite Motuotau Island.

Check out what's happening across the Bay and have a great day!
