‘Dangerous time’ on roads now here

With June to August traditionally being the most dangerous times on the roads, police have one simple message for drivers – slow down!

Winter road conditions play a large part in crashes during these colder months, says Constable Peter from the Waikato Police road policing team.

“During foggy and low visibility conditions, don't forget to turn your headlights on.

“Watch you following distances. Stay safe and drive to the conditions.”
